Tulsa Historical Society Photo Show: A Preview
Have you heard about the new exhibit at Tulsa Historical Society? It's a showcase of the best photos in the Tasha Does Tulsa group of Flickr.
It opened Saturday.
And I just wanted to give you all a preview.
The show features 48 photos I picked out of a pool of more than 1,000 photos.
The folks at Tulsa People Magazine thought it was worth a peek.
There's one of my prints (guess which one) next to a genuine Michael Cooper. Which is funny, actually. I so admire Michael's work. I can't believe a photo of mine gets to hang out right next to a print of his for two whole months.
That's the beauty of being part of what has become a community.
I never expected that so many people would want to put so many of their photos in a little corner of the Web meant to showcase anyone and everyone's photos of Tulsa.
But I'm glad it happened.
And I hope you all make your way to Tulsa Historical Society before July 10 to see what can happen when folks with a few shared passions get together and put forward their best.
Hint: It's something really cool. And inspiring.
And very, very Tulsa.

I'm still needing to go see this. I'm thinking I'll take the fam this weekend if we can peel ourselves away from MayFest.
