Bright, New Horizons

Have you seen it? The new TashaDoesTulsa.com? If you haven't, I'd love if you'd come take a look.

If you like what you see, and if you've enjoyed TashaDoesTulsa.com so far, please take a minute and subscribe to the new feed.

If you're subscribed to the old feed (insert flashing red lights here, especially if you're reading this post in your feed reader), be sure to update to the new one if you wish to continue to be the guy/gal at the water cooler who knows more than anyone else about what's going on in Tulsa.

In case you're wondering, here's exactly how to do that.

First, open the new TashaDoesTulsa.com. Scroll down just a tad, until you see this:

See that pretty orange icon? That's the link to the new feed. Click on it.

Here's a little bit of what you'll see:

See that little button that says + Google?

Click it.

Ta-da! Now you're subscribed to the new Tasha Does Tulsa feed in Google Reader. This method works just as well if you use any of the services listed on this menu, or in the drop down menu on this same page (where is says (Choose Your Reader)). You can also join hundreds of other Tulsans by subscribing to TashaDoesTulsa.com via e-mail with this same menu (or, by clicking that there link).

If you need more help making the switch to the new feed, or if you have problems signing up for the e-mail service, give me a shout.

I look forward to seeing you all at the new site, and I'd love to hear from you about the changes that have been made. You can use my fancy schmancy new contact form, or you can e-mail me old-school style at tasha@tashadoestulsa.com

Amen. And yay!

What to Do in Tulsa This Weekend

Tulsa Skyline

Where else in the world can you get dozens of local bands playing in two huge downtown music festivals; a celebration featuring more than 80 different kinds of beer; a film festival that's gone big and come back home; and a gun show, a home and garden show, a horse show and a giant flea market, all of those last four happening within walking distance of each other?

No where else but Tulsa, Oklahoma. And that, my friends, is a wonderful thing.

Get the full details on what to do in Tulsa this weekend right here.

Loops, A Yarn Store: Babies, Babies, Everywhere

Loops, A Yarn Store

Part of being a 26-year-old female like me is that, from time to time, no fewer than three of your close friends will be pregnant at the same time.

Savoy's Famous Cinnamon Rolls, a Boy and the Fork That Was Too Slow

Cinnamon Rolls at Savoy Restaurant

See that up there? That, my friends, is half a pound of soft, buttery dough, perfectly sweet icing and enough cinnamon to last you until you can make it home for the holidays.

And it can only be found at Tulsa's Savoy Restaurant, just north of 61st and Sheridan in Tulsa.
