Tulsans are invited to add write their hopes, wishes and prayers onto one of thousands of pieces of white fabric, which are then integrated into this New Genre 2010 installation by artist Mark Rumsey. And, of course, by you.

Tulsa March Mania Paint Horse Show (Read headings = Community events)

This, my friends, is the mother of all consignment sales. We're talking infant, kids' and maternity clothing. And cribs. If you haven't been to a Just Between Friends sale, you haven't lived. I buy 90 percent of my son's clothing at the Tulsa JBF Sales (there's one for spring like the one this weekend, and there's one for fall), and if you give a hoot about value, you will, too. Bass Pro Shop's Free Fishing on Uncle Buck's Pond (Green headings = Stuff to do for the Kids)

Get a jump on the season by enjoying free catch and release fishing on Uncle Buck's pond each weekend of the Bass Pro Spring Fishing Classic! This stocked pond is great for kids and adults alike to enjoy catching fish and practicing their skills. Bring your own equipment and bait or purchase some of the inexpensive combo setups that available in the store. Don't forget to sign a release at the customer service desk prior to fishing, and release what you catch so everyone can continue to enjoy the pond.

The Reverend Cookie Bon Bon - Le Confession Zen Installation/Performance

Achieve pure enlightenment with the gift of honorary selective Alzheimer's and a prescription for chaos and nonsense. All zinners will walk away with a penance and purpose to live a life free of zin but full of Zen. Student Art Show at Tulsa Glassblowing Studio

TGS will exhibit glass work by students of the TGS Youth Program, representing groups like Street School and Youth Services of Tulsa. Plus, the students will give free glassblowing demonstrations.

Sleep With the Sharks

Where: Oklahoma Aquarium, 300 Aquarium Drive
Imagine falling asleep alongside a coral reef, or waking up to a bull shark swimming right overhead. These sleepovers at Oklahoma Aquarium are a splash, with activities, snacks, movies and maybe even a little sleep. Slumber under the sea with your whole family, or kids 10-14 can attend unchaperoned. Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom

Teenagers who live in a suburban subdivision with identical houses are addicted to an online horror video game starring, what else, zombies as they take over a subdivision with identical houses. Sound familiar? Tickets are $10.

Beyond Creative Horizons Women's Conference

Where: Central Center at Centennial Park, 6th and Peoria
For a morning of motivation, inspiration, networking and fun, with guest speakers like Pam Richardson of Resonance Center for Women (one of my personal favorite Tulsa nonprofits) and Michelle McCracken of Michelle Grounds Photography. Tickets are $10.

Great Train Expo
When: Saturday, 10am-4pm; Sunday, 10am-4pm
Where: Tulsa Convention Center, 100 Civic Center
Load up the kids and head downtown for more than 200 tables of operating model railroads, including one that's big enough to ride. Look also for workshops, demos and door prizes. Kids get in free and adults pay $7, good for both days of the expo.

Bass Pro Shop's Free Fishing on Uncle Buck's Pond

Get a jump on the season by enjoying free catch and release fishing on Uncle Buck's pond each weekend of the Bass Pro Spring Fishing Classic! This stocked pond is great for kids and adults alike to enjoy catching fish and practicing their skills. Bring your own equipment and bait or purchase some of the inexpensive combo setups that available in the store. Don't forget to sign a release at the customer service desk prior to fishing, and release what you catch so everyone can continue to enjoy the pond.

Bass Pro Shop's Spring Fishing Classic

Alice in Wonderland @ The Spotlight Theatre

The Immigrant

A musical about a young Jewish immigrant who fled to pogroms of Czarist Russia in 1909 and pushed his banana cart into the tiny Baptist community of Hamilton, Texas. All is sure to go smoothly. Heh. Tickets start at $30.

Merrily We Roll Along

Souper Sunday: Soups Around the World
When: 3:30-6:30pm
Where: SpiritBank Event Center, 10441 S. Regal Boulevard
For each $20 ticket (kids aged 6-11 get in for $10, 5 and under for free) soup sippers get the chance to bid on silent auction items and a free pass to eat all the soup they want from 30 local restaurants. Plus, there will be dessert. Souper Sunday is a fundraiser for Total Source for Hearing-loss and Access.

Monthly Comedy Showcase with A Murder of Comics
