More often than not it seems that the forces of weather here in northeast Oklahoma decide to have one last hurrah of freezing winter weather, just before spring starts.
A forty-degree difference from one day to the next. From sunshine and gentle breezes to freezing temperatures and upwards of six inches of snow. From spring to winter, just when, on the eve of the first day of spring, weather conditions should be trending exactly in the opposite direction.
I think that qualifies as a last hurrah.
