Tasha's Pick: Another Hot Oklahoma Night Book Signing (Blue Headings = Music Events)
When: 6pm
Where: Ida Red Boutique, 3336 S. Peoria Ave.
Meet some of the 16 authors of this new book on the history of rock and roll in Oklahoma and hear live music from Jimmy Markham. Copies of the book with a bonus poster will be available for $29.95 - a bonus price, considering you'll meet the likes of Elizabeth Baxter, Scott Booker, Chris Brownsberger, Jerry A. Food Fashion Friday (Red Headings = Community Events)
When: 11:30am-1pm
Where: Center 1 on Brookside
Get an eye full of spring 2010 fashion from models wearing Abersons Womens and Mens, Black Optical and Baby Bump. All you have to do is pick where to have lunch - at KEO, Blue Moon Cafe, Center 1 Market or Caramel - and let the models come to you. Can you say swank?

National Rod and Custom Car Show (Orange Headings = Sports Events)
When: Friday, noon-11pm; Saturday, 10am-11pm; Sunday, 10am-6pm
Where: Expo Square, QuikTrip Center, 4145 E. 21st Street
Get everything from custom cars and motorcycles to monster trucks and the Texas Bikini Team at this be-all-end-all car show. Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for ages 13-16 and $10 for ages 9-12. Children 8 years old and younger get in free with one paid adult admission.

Green Country's Mid-South Tackle and Hunting Show
When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Where: Will Rogers Downs Event Center, in Claremore
Get your Bluegrass and country music, more than 400 exhibits, giveaways for adults and kids and contests, demos and more, all just 20 minutes from downtown Tulsa, all weekend long.

A Night to Remember: A Benefit for the People of Haiti
When: 6:30pm
Where: Living Arts, 307 E. Brady Street
Bring clothes, toiletries and non-perishable food items and get latin dance and music performances, Caribbean food, a full bar and your chance to win some seriously cool door prizes. Don't forget to stop by the silent auction, too. Cost to get into event, all of which is donated to Haitian relief, is $10.

Eric Joyner Book Signing and Reception
When: 7pm
Where: Dwelling Spaces, 119 S. Detroit Ave.
Author and artist Eric Joyner will be signing his book, Robots and Donuts. And, yes, Eric Joyner happens to be one of my most favorite artists ever. Look also for limited edition and signed prints, as well as two original paintings by Joyner. Squee!

Rocket and the Queen of Dreams (Green Headings = Stuff for Kids To Do)
When: Friday, 7pm; Saturday, 11am
Where: Tulsa PAC, 110 E. Second Street
Recommended for kids in kindergarten through third grade, this blend of shadow theatre, puppetry and live performance explores the way we dream. Tickets are $8.

Gospel Music Night with American Theatre Organ Society
When: 7pm
Where: Tulsa Technology Center, Broken Arrow campus, 129th E. Ave. and 111th Street
If you like church music - meaning, you know, the real stuff, like gospel, country, spirituals and hymns - on the radio, just wait until you hear it on a 1928 Robert-Morton Theatre Pipe Organ and a vintage Kimball grand piano.

Annie Get Your Gun (Purple Headings = Arts and Theatre Events)
When: Friday, 7:30pm; Saturday, 7:30pm; Sunday, 2pm
Where: Clark Theatre @ Henthorne Park, 4825 S. Quaker Avenue
Clark Youth Theatre will take audiences back to the Wild West of Sitting Bull, Buffalo Bill Cody and, of course, Annie Oakley. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and students.

I Love You Because

Where: Tulsa PAC, 110 E. Second Street
Like Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, only less wordy. A foursome of 20-somethings are in search of love in the hustle and bustle of New York City. Warning: This one's not for the kids. Tickets are $25.

Where: Charles Page High School Auditorium, Park and Adams Road in Sand Springs
A town has been cursed with Chronic Stupidity for 200 years and it's up to a new teacher in town to break the curse. Ahem. Tickets are $12, or $10 for seniors and students.

BOK Center

Tasha's Pick: George Strait in Concert
When: Doors at 6pm; Show at 7pm
Where: BOK Center, 200 N. Denver Ave.
As if I even need to tell you the details about this concert, but here we go anyway: Performances by Reba McEntire and Lee Ann Womack will be featured alongside the granddaddy of No. 1 country music hits. This show is sold out, so if you have tickets, you're one of the lucky ones.

Drillers Job Fair
When 8am-2pm
Where: Crowne Plaza Hotel, 100 E. Second Street
Opening night of the 2010 season for Tulsa Drillers is fast approaching, and more than 200 part-time gameday positions are open. Find them, ranging from servers and bartenders to ticket takers and cashiers, at this job fair.

All You Can Eat Breakfast
When: 8am-10am
Where: VFW Post 577, 1109 E. Sixth Street
Get a full belly and support our veterans at the same time. Get your scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, gravy and pancakes for a mere $5.

Gardening Info Fair
When: 9am-3pm
Where: Tulsa Garden Center, 2435 S. Peoria Ave.
Gardeners, it's time to get ready for spring. Head to the Tulsa Garden Center for a plethora of free information on how to get your grow on. Don't miss the great soils lecture, starting at 10am. While the fair is free, the cost for the seminar is $15.

Scout Day at Tulsa Air and Space Museum
When: 10am-3pm
Where: Tulsa Air and Space Museum and Planetarium, 3624 N. 74th E. Ave.
Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and Campfire kids are invited to attend this event, which packs a variety of activities for those kids in our lives who are always prepared. Admission is $3 for scouts, $4.50 for adults.

Garden Talk

Where: Philbrook Museum, 2727 S. Rockford Ave.
Learn about the newest and the greatest plants, planting techniques and yummy veggies. Don't miss out on the giveaways, from plants and seeds to tickets to Philbrook's Summer Film series (one of my very favorite things to do when Tulsa turns steamy). Super Shark Sunday

Where: Oklahoma Aquarium, 300 Aquarium Drive in Jenks
Kids have the chance to sleuth out a shark secret and turn in their discovery for a drawing of prizes ranging from shark teeth souvenirs to an annual family membership (!) on the last Sunday in February. Oklahoma Aquarium's own Shark Man will be hanging around to help with clues.

Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show

A violinist, a cellist and a pianist walk into a bar. No, this isn't some corny joke - this is the latest presentation of Chamber Music Tulsa that highlights the work of three French soloists. Tickets are $25.

Jazz Keyboard Concert

Where: Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, 100 E. First Street
A collaboration between OJHF and the Tulsa Jazz Society brings the annual Jazz Keyboard Concert, hosted by Chuck Gardner. Featuring Cheryl Bocanegra, Scott McQuade, Amy Cottingham and Rick Fortner. Tickets start at $15.

Catch shorts in just about every category you can care about of movies that have been nominated for an Oscar this year. Tickets are $8.25 for adults, $5 for kids.

Sunday Matinee Films - The Iron Horse
When: Sunday, 1:30pm
Where: Gilcrease Museum, 1400 N. Gilcrease Museum Road
Get in on this three-part series on the steam train and its impact on the terrain of the American West. Dr. Joseph Kestner, director of Film Studies at The University of Tulsa, will provide pre-film commentary and will lead the audience dialogue after the screening.
