Apparently, I'm not supposed to start my garden from seed this year.
Not only do I have to contend with seedling-eating, feline-type creatures, but I'm also up against this:
A force (and a half) to be reckoned with.

My cats have been eating the tulips on my table all weekend. Well, the leaves at least.

Oh gosh. So sorry. I had a cat once who hooked his claw on a lacy table cover which upon it sat a ceramic Christmas tree. Needless to say it went flying clear across the room. Millions of green pieces everywhere and cat fur as he went flying.
I see he's carried out my plans to perfection. Now, I won't be alone in buying my herbs full grown at 3.50 a pop.
HAHA! Sam's looking all bad there. He just needs a do-rag and a black leather jacket...
Oh, no! I think you should try it again if you have a safer place to plant. If they're not too traumatized, you could scratch their little plant bellies and coo them a bit, and they will probably spring back!

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4
year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the
shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside
and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
