CAN Film Festival. Plus, a Twitter Giveaway.

You guys. Check this out:

That 45 children go to the Child Abuse Network every day in Tulsa shocked me. I had no idea. So, already, the family-friendly and child-centered CAN Film Festival is accomplishing its mission: To raise awareness of child abuse and Child Abuse Network. Kudos to the historic Circle Cinema for hosting this event.

Showtimes are 12:15 and 3:15 p.m., with several workshops at 1:30. Find a list of films on the CAN Film Festival Web site. Tickets are $10 per, which includes admission and concessions.

Or, you and a buddy could go for free! Thanks to Urban Tulsa Weekly, the ultimate source of info on what's doing in Tulsa, I have two tickets to the 12:15 p.m. show to give away here at Tasha Does Tulsa.

To enter:
  1. Go to Twitter.com
  2. If you already have an account, sign in; if you don't already have an account, make one!
  3. Follow @tashadoestulsa
  4. Tweet how you'll be doing Tulsa this weekend.
  5. At the end of your tweet, type this: #tashadoestulsa. That's so we all can keep track of all the fun goings on here in T-Town this weekend  (via hashtags.org or search.twitter.com - just punch in #tashadoestulsa in the search field to see what hopefully resembles a stream). It's also for me. I want to easily be able to pick a winner of this pair of tickets to the CAN Film Festival, after all.
My favorite tweet by midnight tonight takes all, so be creative! Good luck!
