Saturday



Tulsa Shoot Out
When: Friday-Saturday, grandstands open at 5pm, events at 6pm
Where: Expo Square, 21st and Yale
A record count of more than 500 Micro Sprint cars and the debut of the ASCS Midgets will headline a full weekend of racing action. General admission is $15 for adults, $5 for kids.


Sunday



Arvest Winterfest
When: Saturday, noon-10pm; Sunday, noon-10pm
Where: On Third Street, between Denver and Frisco Avenues in downtown Tulsa
Relish the chance to ice skate outdoors on a 60-by-150-foot rink, yummy food, live entertainment at the ONEOK Stage on Saturday afternoon between 2-5pm and a carriage ride through the streets of downtown Tulsa. If you can, catch the Tulsa Figure Skating Club Exhibition Sunday afternoon at 1pm.

Hot Club of Cowtown
When: Saturday, doors at 7pm, show at 8pm
Where: Cain's Ballroom, 423 N. Main Street
Don't miss this trio when it brings its mix of hot jazz and Western swing to T-town. Three Penny Upright opens. Tickets are $20.

Momma's Saturday Book Club

Where: Joe Momma's downtown, 112 S. Elgin
The book for this week's family event at downtown's favorite pizza joint is Miss Nelson Has a Field Day. Swoosh, the Tulsa Talons mascot, will stop by, and kids will have the chance to make their own footballs and goals.

Shark Tooth Necklaces for Kids

Where: Oklahoma Aquarium, 300 Aquarium Drive in Jenks
The Shark Man at Oklahoma Aquarium found a unique use for the thousands of teeth shed by the sharks at the Aquarium: Souvenir necklaces!
