If you work or live in downtown Tulsa, odds are that you have seen this man:
It seems sometimes that it can't be too cold or windy or rainy for the Guitar Man, reportedly named Chris, to break out his guitar and belt out some 1970s rock classics.
I don't work downtown anymore and I with much remorse and gnashing of teeth have come to terms with the fact that I don't live downtown, either. So, when I do go downtown, I like to find Chris and toss him a word or two of encouragement. Also, I videotape him. It's my little way of hoarding the good times.
In case he's not out today, here's your fix of the best darned Ted Nugent cover ever, by none other than Chris the Guitar Man.

He is always out by our building and I see him daily! He really makes working downtown enjoyable.
I used to work downtown and "Guitar Man" was the highlight of my day. Thanks for the video, definitely made my day!
That's AWESOME! Now I feel like I've got to go see Chris the guitar dude sometime soon.
Props to the Chris the guitar man!
The hardest working musician in Downtown Tulsa. Ask for some Super Tramp. I think he does a couple.
