You Feelin' Lucky?

Know what I love best about Dwelling Spaces owner Mary Beth Babcock? She's a hip, happenin' gal, and darned nice, too. Also, her store, Dwelling Spaces, is my favorite source for locally made goodies, including the Tulsa-centric t-shirt line by Louis & Cluck.

You know - the I Heart Tulsa and Don't Hate the 918 shirts.

Are you like me and have somehow managed to go without one of these shirts since they caught on like wildfire in the T-Town area a few years ago? Even my newborn had one before I did. My friends would laugh and point, jeer and scowl at me for being so uncool as to not own an I Heart Tulsa t-shirt while blogging about how much I love it here. That was, until I finally bought one a few weeks ago.

I was late to this little party. Just a tad.

To those still existing without a Louis & Cluck shirt: Endure the pain no longer. All you have to do is answer the following question in the comments:

What are your plans for Valentine's Day?

Well, technically, you have to do more than just answer the question. I have to enter in the number of comments on this post 24 hours from now (Tuesday at 8 a.m. Tulsa time) at Random.org, and your comment has to bear the lucky and very random integer. Okay?

Did I mention the winner also gets an Okie Grown coffee mug? It's true.

One entry per person, por favor. The contest ends at 8 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) morning. Good luck!

Thanks to Mary Beth at Dwelling Spaces for providing the goods for this giveaway. Stop by her shop at 119 S. Detroit or in the Philcade at 511 S. Boston and let her know she rocks the 918, y'all.

Our family is going to Osaka for dinner. It's a combo Happy Valentines Day/Happy Good Report Cards Day.

We don't know yet. How sad is that? Actually, we will probably just have a quiet dinner at home to avoid the crowds. Then, maybe a movie. Wild, I know.

I haven't told my husband yet, but I think I am going to surprise him by taking him to this little steak house in Thayer, Kansas that we discovered a few weeks ago when his truck broke down in Chanute. They grilled us up the best steaks we've ever had.

My wife and I won't be together for Valentine's Day, but I will be sending ahead a box of homemade, heart-shaped chocolate chip cookies to meet her at her hotel along with a hand written love note.

I will be making a really good chocolate cake, who does not want chocolate cake on Valentine's Day, beef wellington, sour cream mashed potatoes, and a spring mix salad. Can't wait! Love your blog and we LOVE TULSA!!!

Well for the most part it is a surprise - I am pretty sure it will involve dinner at home cooked by my hubby. I have been told I need to stay out of the house all afternoon. :)

Going to the G. Love concert at Cain's with my roommates and a bunch of friends. Gotta be proactive about eliminating that awkward V-day unsurety!

How delightful! I envy those cool enough to own their own I Heart Tulsa shirts. Here's my chance! We'll probably do what we do every night, Josh cooks and then it's movie time! Of course we can't miss old episodes of King of the Hill at 9pm.

Hope you have a great Valentine's!

I'd love a hot date on the town with my hubby, but I hate to battle the V-Day crowds at restaurants. Sooo....we'll probably be a home with the little one!

Nothing says loving like my little girl! Oh yeah, I need to email you a pic of Mel in her I Heart Tulsa shirt. Precious!

My wife and I are going to the Daily Grill, which opened not too long ago in the Crown Plaza. After that, we're taking in a play at the Broken Arrow Community Theater.

I am pretty sure I am going to make John take me to Joe Momma's for Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza and then to the ice skating event at the BOK Center where we will likely not skate, but scoot around the ice on our bottoms. What are you and A-Ball doing?

We are going to a Valentine mystery dinner at our church. Papa tried to hide our reservation form but I found it in his pocket.
